Neve Cosmetics - Mistero Barocco

Ciao a tutti!
Vorrei condividere con voi la nuova collezione di Neve Cosmetics, la chiacchieratissima "Mistero Barocco".
Oggi sono passata a toccarla con mano nella BioProfumeria della mia città e ho pensato di postarvi qualche swatch e prima impressione!
Non ho acquistato l'intera collezione ma solo le cose che mi intrigavano di più, perchè ho già tanti prodotti molto simili a questi...mi è sembrato inutile comprare un altro rossetto rosso o l'ennesimo ombretto marrone.
Voglio inoltre sperimentare il primo post bilingue, dato che Neve è un brand tutto italiano e a noi ormai noto, mi piacerebbe farlo conoscere anche all'estero! ;)

I'd like to share with you the new collection by Neve Cosmetics, called "Mistero Barocco" (literally translated as Baroque Mystery).
Today I went to the local seller to take a close look to the collection and I thought I'd share with you the swatches and my first impressions!
I didn't buy the whole stuff, I just picked my favourite items, because I already have a ton of products that look very similar to these pieces...it seemed useless to me to buy another red lipstick or brown eyeshadow.
And the news is, today is my first double language post, since Neve is a famous italian brand, I'd like to introduce it to foreign people as well! ;)

Innanzitutto, perdonate la luce della foto ma l'ho fatta direttamente col cellulare in negozio...comunque i colori non sono usciti falsati, sono abbastanza fedeli a come li vedevo io.
La palette di ombretti, per quanto mi attraesse, non mi ha convinta del tutto: per quanto Crinoline e Ornament siano entrambi molto belli, scriventi e quasi cremosi, non si può dire lo stesso per Ember e Obscure, che trovo abbastanza polverosi e molto meno pigmentati.
Fortunatamente, hanno anche realizzato la versione vuota, quindi ho acquistato quella (che sul sito è andata sold out mezz'ora dopo il debutto della collezione, ma in alcune bioprofumerie potreste trovarla!), Ornament e la Pastello Ballerina.
Passiamo poi alle Pastello occhi: i colori scelti sono tutti belli e particolari (del resto anche le altre biomatite trovo abbiano un range di colorazioni veramente curato e non banale). La cosa triste è che possedendo praticamente metà delle colorazioni già presenti nella collezione permanente, so già che non vanno d'accordo con i miei occhi lacrimosi. Tendono tutte a colare nel giro di pochissimo, a prescindere dalla colorazione. Ho provato sia a utilizzarle da sole che a fissarle con un ombretto, ma non c'è verso. E alla fine somiglio sempre a un panda colorato.
Per quanto riguarda le Duebaci invece ammetto che mi intriga molto il fatto di avere nello stesso prodotto sia matita che rossetto, ma i colori non mi hanno colpita particolarmente. Sono belli, per carità, ma sono tutto sommato dei colori già visti e stravisti; inoltre Incognito e Conspiracy trovo che virino troppo sul marrone, che con la mia carnagione non sta benissimo. Spero davvero che escano delle nuove colorazioni prossimamente perchè la qualità mi sembra buona e li trovo molto pratici per chi, come me, spesso si trova a dover infilare tutto quanto l'arsenale in una pochette striminzita! :D

First of all, I apologize for the light in the picture, but I took it while I was still in the shop...anyway, the colours are not altered, they look exactly how I saw them in the shop :)

Anyway, the eyeshadow palette looks amazing, but sadly it didn't convince me completely: despite Crinoline and Ornament being both beautiful colours, super pigmented and soft, I can't say the same for Ember and Obscure, which I found out to be quite dusty and fairly pigmented.

Lucky me, they also made the empty version (which sold out in 30 mins on the website), so I got that and the eyeshadow Ornament, and that's all I bought together with the lipliner Ballerina/Pink, which is a permanent shade.

Straight to the eye pencils: the colours chosen are beautiful (like all the others from the permanent range, I think the colours are amazing and unusual). The sad thing is, I already own a ton of their eye pencils, but they don't agree with my super watery eyes. They would all fade within an hour, every colour I own. I tried also setting it with an eyeshadow of the same colour, but it wouldn't work anyway. And in the end I look like a sad colorful panda everytime.

As for the lip liners/lipsticks Duebaci, I'm very intrigued by the fact that they have both the liner and the lippie, but I think the colours are very anonimous. I mean, a lot of different brands already came out with a classic red or a dark one. Also, I find that Incognito and Conspiracy are too much on the brown side, which is the only colour I don't like on my complexion. I really hope that Neve Cosmetics will make more shades because the quality seems to be good and I think they're very handy for people like me. I often try to put too many things in a way too small pochette. :D
