HUGE REVIEW - Nabla Eyeshadows!

Ciaoooo!
Dato che da pochi gionri è uscita la nuova collezione Nabla "Butterfly Valley", ho pensato che una recensione dettagliata dei loro ombretti potesse essere utile a qualcuno! Nella review li troverete divisi per finish, con due righe di valutazione su ciascun colore! Purtroppo ho dovuto dividerla in due post perchè avevo terminato gli "Invio" di Blogger XD

Since a few days ago launched the new Nabla collection "Butterfly Valley", I thought I could review all my Nabla eyeshadows! I divided them per finish, and wrote a small review for every single shade! I had to split it in two posts because Blogger wouldn't let me press "Enter" anymore XD

  SOFT MATTE EYESHADOWS

Uno dei miei due finish preferiti. Trovo che siano degli ombretti opachi davvero ottimi, morbidi, scriventi, sfumabili, duraturi. Alcune colorazioni sono molto particolari, difficili da reperire ovunque. Trovo inoltre che per questo prezzo sia molto difficile trovare un prodotto così valido.

One of my two favourite finishes. These eyeshadows are incredibly soft, blendable, long lasting and pigmented. The colours are amazing too, and very difficult to find elsewhere. Also for this price, it's very difficult to find a good quality product like this.

Fossil

Un marroncino freddo perfetto per la piega. L'ho usato tantissimo, anche se devo dire che, da quando ho acquistato Narciso, non l'ho più usato quanto prima. Prediligo più toni caldi sui miei occhi azzurri.

A taupey brown perfect for the crease and for blending. I used it a lot, but I have to say, since I bought Narciso I've been reaching more for it more than Fossil. I prefer to use warm browns on my blue eyes.

Narciso

Lo amo, punto. E' il perfetto colore caldo per la piega dell'occhio. Lo uso spessissimo, sia da solo per una leggera definizione, che per sfumare altri colori.

I love it. It's the perfect warm shade for the crease. I use it very often, by itself for a quick crease definition on an everyday look, or to blend smokey eyes.

Caramel

Colore strano. Ammetto di usarlo raramente. Non so, ho come la sensazione che non vada d'accordo con il mio tono di pelle. Per scaldare altri colori non mi dispiace, ma da solo o come colore da piega non me lo vedo proprio (forse giusto abbinato a un bel rame).

This one is a strange colour. I admit I use this very rarely. I don't know, I just have a feeling this shade doesn't suit my skin tone very much. I would more likely use it to add a bit of warmth to other shades but as a crease colour - no no. Maybe better combined with a copper shade.

Petra

Un altro mio grande amore. Un color siena bruciata che utilizzo molto spesso -  l'ho giusto utilizzato nel mio recente total look Nabla assieme a Narciso e Mimesis! Quei tre non me la raccontano giusta. Li uso davvero spessissimo insieme!

Another big love of mine. A burnt sienna colour I like to use very much - as a matter of fact, I used it with Narciso and Mimesis in my recent Nabla look! Those three are like the perfect partners in crime. I use that combo quite a lot.

Camelot

Camelot è un'altra tonalità valida, un marrone scuro freddo che amo usare per dare profondità all'angolo esterno degli occhi. Ottimo anche per sfumare la matita per un look con eyeliner sfumato. La nota negativa: la cialdina di questo colore è molto delicata, a me si è mezza sgretolata solo a spostarla qualche volta da una palette all'altra.

Camelot is another great shade, a dark cool toned brown which I love to use to deepen the outer corners of my eyes. Great also to smudge eye pencil for soft eyeliner looks. The bad thing is: the pan is quite delicate, mine crackled up a lot by just moving it from one palette to another.

Mimesis

Splendido. E' un bel vinaccia, scurissimo (color Lambròsc! :D ), ottimo specialmente in combo con i due sopracitati Narciso e Petra. Lo abbino davvero a qualsiasi colore!

Wonderful. A very dark kinda wine colour, excellent especially if combined with Narciso and Petra. It just works with every colour.

City Wolf

Grigio medio freddissimo. Lo uso spesso in combo con Interference e compagnia, ma vale il discorso di Fossil...mi trovo più spesso ad usare toni caldi.

Medium grey, super cool toned. I use this with Interference and company, but as I said with Fossil, I prefer to use warm shades.

Nocturne

Un semplicissimo nero matte, molto pigmentato e sfumabile. Tende ad avere un poco di fallout.

Just a matte black, very pigmented and blendable. Tends to create a little bit of fallout.

BRIGHT EYESHADOWS

I Bright di Nabla, assieme ai Soft Matte, sono il mio finish preferito. Sono morbidi, pigmentati, e le colorazioni non sono mai banali. Trovo che siano davvero un'ottima formula!

Nabla's Brights, along with Soft Mattes, are my favourite finish. They are soft, pigmented, and the colours are never conventional. Amazing formula!

Interference

Un grigio freddo molto luminoso, con riflessi che virano al malva. Bello, scrivente, ottimo in compaglia con City Wolf!

A cool toned grey, very luminous, with mauve reflections. Beautiful, pigmented, excellent paired with City Wolf!

Superposition

Bel colore, ma i glitter tendono a svolazzare un po' in giro. Era una limited comunque, non credo si trovi più in giro. Se vi piace, continuate a leggere la review ;)

Cool colour, but the glitters tend to fly away a bit. It was a limited edition though, I don't think it's still available anywhere, anymore. If you like it, try checking out the next shadow ;)

Ground State

 La versione riveduta e corretta di Superposition. Non è identico, come forse si intravede dagli swatch, a me sembra più chiaro e non contiene i glitterini verdi svolazzanti. Me gusta.

The better version of Superposition. It's not identical, as you can maybe tell from the swatches. To me, it's slightly lighter and obviously doesn't contain Superposition's flying green glitters. Me gusta.

Entropy

Uno dei miei preferiti in assoluto. Non è chiaro, ma non è neanche troppo scuro, ed è luminosissimo. L'ho utilizzato assieme ad altri ombretti sempre Nabla nel mio Face Of The Day di un paio di giorni fa, ma lo uso spessissimo!

One of my all time favourites. It's not light, yet it's not too dark, and very bright and luminous. I used it with many other Nabla eyeshadows in my  Face Of The Day I posted two days ago!

Tribeca

Un altro dei miei preferiti. Usato per intensificare l'angolo esterno con Entropy su tutta la palpebra è favoloso, ma anche abbinato ai vari arancio e rossi è spettacolare!

Another favourite of mine. If used in the outer corner with Entropy all over the lid it's gorgeous, but it's amazing also paired with oranges and red!

Aphrodite

Un rame acceso. Mi piace perchè è luminoso e colorato, ma allo stesso tempo elegante. Decisamente una delle mie tonalità top per l'estate! Se avete gli occhi chiari è una tonalità perfetta per tirare fuori specialmente l'azzurro.

A bright copper. I love it because it's bright and colorful, yet it can be so elegant. Definitively one of my top summer shades! If you have blue eyes, this shade is perfect to make your eye colour pop!

Grenadine

Un bel rosso melograno, anche questo bello acceso, perfetto per l'estate! Trovo che, mentre Aphrodite mi piace di più su occhi chiari, Grenadine stia molto bene sugli occhi anche molto scuri (poi si sa, il rosso e vedre sono complementari, quindi se avete occhi scuri con riflessi verdi è perfetto!).

A beautiful pomegranate red, very bright, perfect for summer! While I like Aphrodite more on blue eyes (don't get me wrong-it works good on dark eyes too!), I think this one suits both bright and dark eyes (and you know, green and red are complementary colours, so if you have brown eyes with green speckles it's the perfect shade to bring them out!)

Daphne n. 2

Questo essenzialmente è la versione Bright di Daphne H20. Lo preferisco alla formula originale perchè è morbido e scrivente! E' sulla scia di Cramberry di Mac, ma devo dire che lo preferisco di gran lunga a Cranberry. Se vi piacciono queste tonalità, Daphne n.2 è un must have!

This is basically the Bright version of the H20 eyeshadow. I love it more than the H20 formula, because it's smooth and insanely pigmented! It's a Mac Cramberry kinda shade, but I love this one way more than Cramberry. If you like this kind of shades, then you really need to get this one!

Atmosphere

Un azzurro dai riflessi lievemente dorati. Trovo che l'azzurro slavi il 99% delle persone, specialmente quelle con gli occhi chiari, ma questo è straordinariamente docile. Molto bello abbinato a Zoe nell'angolo interno!

A light turquoise with slightly golden reflects. I think that this kind of colour washes off like 99% of the people, especially blue eyed ones, but this one is surprisingly forgiving. Beautiful if used with Zoe in the inner corner.

Citron

Citron è un bellissimo verde lime con riflessi doratissimi, un colore veramente unico! Mi piace tantissimo in contrasto con i rame e gli aranciati, infatti l'ho utilizzato nella palpebra inferiore nel FOTD Nabla, dove sulla palpebra avevo Aphrodite, ma è bellissimo anche su tutta la palpebra in uno smokey con marroni caldi a intensificare, o addirittura all'angolo interno, come in questo look realizzato da MrDaniel Makeup (che è anche il direttore artistico di Nabla, oltre ad essere un bravissimo truccatore)!

Citron is a beautiful lime green with super gold reflects, a unique colour! I love it with coppers and oranges, in fact I used it in the lower lid in my Nabla FOTD, with Aphrodite in the centre of the upper lid, but it's amazing also all over the lid with some matte brown in the crease, or also in the inner corner, as MrDaniel Makeup (who is also Nabla's Art Director) did in this look!

Dreamer

Un oro in base fredda, che vira al verde. Perfetto per illuminare Citron e Extravirgin, ma non lo uso molto spesso in quanto preferisco illuminanti dorati.

A cool toned gold, that goes slightly green. Perfect to highlight Citron and Extravirgin, but I don't use it very often since I love me more some goldish highlighter.
